You have been accepted into the online pilot program.
We are delighted to offer you admission to the Missouri Auction School online updated pilot program for the January 2021 class.
To receive the maximum education the student must be available on the following days:
January 2 (Saturday), January 3 (Sunday), and January 4 (Monday) The student will be expected to listen to the online lessons learning the basics of a good chant. The student will need to practice these beginning chant principles. The student needs to allow between 1-3 hours for practicing the principles in each of the lessons. These days will be listening to the lessons & practicing. These lessons can also be taken through Wednesday. You do not have to do them on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
January 8 (Friday) thru January 17 (Sunday at 3pm CST) The student will have access to all of the auction business lectures. The student may take these classes any time during this period. Listening to these auction business lectures will be necessary for the student to understand the auction principles that will be covered on the final exam on January 17 (Sunday available at 5pm CST through Monday, January 18 at 5pm CST).
Monday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 6, (or Tuesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 7) The class days will be assigned to each student. These days will include a small group chant class (Video conference by Zoom) each day with an auctioneer instructor. The remainder of the time on these days, the student should practice the chant on their own for a few hours to prepare for the next day’s small group chant class (Video conference by Zoom). The student will be assigned a Zoom Video conference time. Instructions will be provided for the student with directions on how to call into the Zoom call.
January 11 (Monday), January 12 (Tuesday), January 13 (Wednesday), January 14 (Thursday), January 15 (Friday), will be small group chant improvement (Video conference by Zoom) with several Missouri Auction School instructors & auctioneers. The dates and times will be dependent on the auctioneer teacher’s schedule. The students will be assigned class times and dates.
January 16 (Saturday) and January 17 (Sunday) will be required small group sessions morning and afternoon for students from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia (Video conference by Zoom) with a Missouri Auction School instructor. The morning and afternoon start times will be dependent on the auctioneer teacher’s schedule. Students from the above states are required to participate in these sessions.
January 17 (Sunday) The final exam will be taken online by the student available at 5pm CST through Monday, January 18 at 5pm CST. This exam must be completed by Monday, January 18 at 5pm CST.
REQUESTS FOR EXTENDED TIME TO FINISH THE CLASS
Students who wish to have more time to listen to the auction lectures may extend their class dates thru January 19 (Tuesday). These students will take their final exam anytime on January 19 (Tuesday). The Extension Late Fee for the extra 3 days to listen to the lectures is $150.
The extended class time is for listening to the auction lectures and does not include additional chant Zoom calls. Students who have paid the $150 time extension late fee and have not completed all requirements including the final exam by midnight Pacific Time January 20 (Wednesday) will not graduate, will not receive a diploma, and will not receive a refund.
